Debris Filter Tank

This tank is the debris filter for the water system. The device at the top is a Fleck 7000 control valve, it has a backwashing pump that can be programmed to run periodically. The tank contains the sediment filter media.

This tank is currently in bypass and unplugged. It is unknown why. It probably should be in service and plugged in. If it is not plugged in it won't backwash and will easily become clogged. It is possible that since it is unplugged that it may not have been backwashed in sometime and thus was causing low flow.

To toggle between bypass and operation mode, insert a screwdriver into the holes on left and right sides of the bypass valve and rotate 90 degrees.

Holes facing up is bypass mode, holes facing toward you is in service.

Important: When returning to service, put the inlet into service before the outlet.

As of June 2026, tank is currently in bypass mode. It is believed that this tank should be in service. Need to check with others to confirm it should be in use.
